New Construction
Amongst the best spanish investment properties are the new constructions and, in particular, the off plan property Spain is well known for its new developments and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands is not behind the mainland in the choice and availability of investment properties. These properties can be part of a large development by a major constructor or a single property by a local builder. Payment terms, conditions, deposits etc (see our moving to Spain purchasing guide) can differ from builder to builder and are often negotiable, but the financial advantage is that the price is fixed at the time of paying a deposit and final completion takes place when the property is finished - which can take up to 2 years.
